Welcome to Tasman District School, a public school situated in Nubeena on the beautiful Tasman Peninsula. At Tasman District School we care about your child and believe that “Education is a journey” beginning with our Launching into Learning (Birth-4) program through to Years 11 and 12.

Our students come from various parts of the Tasman Peninsula including Highcroft, Port Arthur, White Beach, Nubeena, Saltwater River, Premaydena, Koonya, Taranna, Eaglehawk Neck, Murdunna and Dunalley.

At Tasman District School, your child will be taught the Australian Curriculum, along with a focus on inclusion, along with Social and Emotional learning. We have a school farm where we grow produce and have a range of animals (chickens, ducks, alpacas, sheep and cattle) which allows students to learn ‘hands-on’, real-life skills.

We know that schools can have the greatest impact when families and the school work together. We include families in their child’s learning and value getting to know you and your child. This allows our staff to best understand student’s specific learning needs, including strength and areas requiring extra support.

We encourage you to contact us to organise a tour of our school. You can also like us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter. We look forward to meeting you to discuss your child’s needs.
